Side 'projects' within the project

One of the 'side projects' during the main projects this year consist of making a seven deadly sins portrait of yourself. The sins I have chosen to represent myself are lust, wrath and pride.

Our next side project was to create a kusudama. I chose to create the septima star, which can hold 5-10 points.

The following project was to create a light ball made from corrugated board. We worked in pairs for this and my partner was Jared. We designed many possibilities for the type of design we wanted on the ball and finally refined our design to this:

The last side project within the projects for end term was to recreate yourself in paper form and after many skin tone corrections I present....Mini paper ME!

iDesign ER

The iDesign ER project was based around the Apple brand.
My concept was to use oompa loompa's on a fooseball table as a designer's emergency back up. Each oomp serves a different function.

The oomps below are different colours but the linework on their bodies show which side of the table they belong.

Business Card

In this project we were to create business cards for characters in a movie we have chosen. The movie I chose was Edward Scissorhands . My concept revolved around the darkness of each character and the somber colours used in certain scenes. I've also tried to keep each business card similar to the character's personality.
